Tema Process produce shaking fluid bed dryers. The shaking motion improves the fluidisation and transportation of material within the fluid bed. Static fluid beds may be used for batch or continuous operation. In general terms they are preferred for uniform materials that do not tend to agglomerate, such as pharmaceuticals. In some cases heat is applied from submerged heat exchangers installed within the bed of material.
